Legal Career Day at North Division High Recap

"You should never get comfortable being comfortable. . . "

This was one of the prolific quotes shared with students at North Division High School (Milwaukee) during a Legal Career Day featuring several WAAL executive board members. Chair of Community Outreach, Warren Buliox (Partner, MWH Law Group), served as the trial attorney (and often the judge) in a mock courtroom scenario where President Steven DeVougas (Attorney, Quarles & Brady) and Treasure Will Sulton (Attorney, Peter, Johnson & Murray) were "questioned" on the "stand" about their journeys to becoming lawyers. The high school aged students were engaged, often serving as "co-counsels" to Buliox, asking questions about college, law school, and the practice of law. Students shared their own dream careers, which included working in construction, becoming doctors, and of course, entering the practice of law.
