WAAL Collects Costumes for Children of YWCA Madison

Led by WAAL Community Outreach Director Amber Raffeet August, the Wisconsin Association of African-American Lawyers (WAAL) collected Halloween costumes for children of YWCA Madison. Each year, children of all ages participate in Halloween festivities on Madison's Capitol Square, directly outside of YWCA's transitional living facilities. These facilities include Third Street Program, a transitional housing program for mothers and children under the age of 5, and the Empower Home Program, a transitional housing program for mothers and children fleeing domestic violence. The donated costumes allowed the children to participate in Downtown Madison's Family Halloween celebration.
