POSITION(S) UP FOR ELECTION:
CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
For consideration on the ballot, the candidate must be:

Admitted to practice law in the state of Wisconsin; and
-
Been a WAAL member between January 1, 2017 - July 1, 2018.*
*If you did not pay dues between January 1, 2017 - July 1, 2018, you are not considered a WAAL member. Individuals will be notified of their eligibility via e-mail. If you do not receive an update, you are not a WAAL member, and therefore, ineligible to run as a candidate.
To be considered, a candidate must submit the following by Monday, July 30, 2018:
*Please limit statements of interest to 350 words. Each candidate must submit a statement of interest and a professional headshot to
waalawyers@gmail.com by July 30, 2018. Please include your desired position in the submission. A non-exhaustive list of what your statement of interest may include is as follows: why you are interested in the position sought after; how you plan to fulfill the required duties; and/or examples of your success in other organizations. Candidates’ statements of interests and photographs will be distributed via an electronic ballot.
VOTER ELIGIBILITY
Individuals who have paid dues on or before August 9, 2018 are eligible to vote, this includes those renewing their dues for the upcoming term (October 1, 2018 – September 30, 2019). Votes submitted by non-WAAL members will not be considered.
